Confiscated AmstelSki hotel in Bukovel is being prepared for privatization

Ukraine’s State Property Fund has started preparing the AmstelSki hotel in Bukovel for sale. The property was confiscated from Viacheslav Zanevsky, the sanctioned former security chief of Viktor Yanukovych. The package includes the hotel business, five trademarks, 12 land plots, apartments, parking spaces and other assets. Court seizures and encumbrances have already been removed, while land titles, inventories and valuations are being prepared. The case is particularly interesting because Bukovel and the Carpathians remain among Ukraine’s strongest tourism and resort-investment markets. A competitive sale would provide another indication of how investors currently value operating hospitality assets in comparatively lower-risk Western Ukraine.
